Chas began serving as the Interim Associational Missionary Strategist in 2021. Then, in 2023, he was asked to continue in the position. Chas and his wife, Amy, have four children. Chas first served a church in the association in 2002 as the Music Minister for New Colony Baptist Church. After serving as a church planter in Ohio, the Carlisle family returned to Cass County, where Chas continues to serve as the pastor of Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Marietta, TX. Chas holds a B.M. from East Texas Baptist University, an M.A. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, an M.Div. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and a D.Min. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
